Anthony Hope is a sailor who discovers Sweeney Todd floating at sea after his escape from prison. He befriends Todd and helps him get to London. While in London, Anthony becomes infatuated with Johanna, who is not only the ward of the dastardly Judge Turpin, but also Todd's daughter. With the assistance of Todd, he begins his quest to rescue Johanna from the Judge's clutches.
